dark forces 2

The game loads and the initial cutscene plays, but when I actually get into the game, all I see is the life bar and ammo HUD.  The rest of the screen is black.  I have tried changing resolutions, but it tells me my video card might not have enough memory, which I find laughable.  Any ideas on how I get this to play?

Dark Forces 2 is not an EA game, so perhaps this isn't the best place to look for help with this game. That said, LucasArts, the developer of this game, doesn't exist anymore, and I doubt its parent, LucasFilm, will offer video game support.
