cant go into matches on battlefront 2 (Xbox One)

I am having a issue, i cant load into any matches on starwars battlefront 2. I can go into arcade and campaign but not online. I have Xbox gold i made sure by looking at my recent purchases. the screen goes dim when i select a match of any kind and wont load into a match. i have uninstalled and re installed. it lets me on battlefield 1 and 4.

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Sounds like it may be an issue with the ports not being open @CRISPYDUCKZZ.

The best thing to do is take a couple of minutes to go through the connection troubleshooting steps here and also ensure that the necessary ports are open: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/

I have sorted it i just needed a factory reset but kept all games and apps.
