Titan Quest Anniversary Edition Black Screen

When I attempt to play Titan Quest Anniversary Edition, it only shows a black screen with an "in game" cursor (some sort of gauntlet wearing hand).  I am unable to switch screens to my task manager, unable to ALT+F4 to close the window, unable to do anything but a hard boot.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the game.  I also used "repair" in Origin.  Nothing works.  I am running Win10.

Have you tried to run the game in older Windows compatible mode? Right click game icon and choose Properties. You can turn on compatibility mode in the Compatibility tab.
