What is your language setting in Origin? Maybe you need to change it to french and then reinstall Theme Hospital with the same language.

Let me know if you are able to play the game in french.

Well when I'm installing TH from Origin it asks me which language do I prefer, and from list I can choose from English, Spanish, ... aaaand French . When you install game in that language do you choose one from the list ? Do you have any other options than English ?

There should be no issue with Windows 10 either, you may have to use the Compatibility Mode options though:
