There are currently no plans that I am aware of to bring the original Sims to Origin, I will, however, pass your feedback on to the team

I still have my original copy but it seems all beds are cursed with the "no actions available" status. Any know fixes?

@kalonsp You may want to take a look to this 

Most of the time the problem is caused by Custom Content (mods). Also, Mac users are bound to encounter this, as the more recent MacOS versions seem to not be compatible with the game. 

if you are a WIndows user and have mods, you may want to try a clean installation.
