Just going to put that there for reference, basically that issue except it isn't solved. I manually downloaded dotnet 3.5 from Microsoft and attempted to manually install it, only the file won't open or execute, like at all. My settings were adjusted accordingly, windows features for .net were turned on, attempted to run as administrator. Nothing. I also am not going to uninstall the latest framework .net because frankly this game should work with it, but it doesn't and if I go uninstalling updates like that, it could screw a lot of things up. I just don't know. I don't think EA should be selling the game if it is having these kind of issues, and won't even install. Yeah, the game refuses to finish it's installation because dotnet 3.5 will not install.
