Hello, I did both FULL Gameplay on Sonic the Hedgehog & Sonic the Hedgehog 2 EA Mobile Version back in the early 2000's before the Christian Whitehead Remaster's and Sonic Origins. These were the first Mobile Ports before Touchscreen phones. Both Sonic 1 & Sonic 2 were originally published by SEGA. I did a Throwback of Sonic The Hedgehog & Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Mobile that was published by EA Mobile for $6.99 back then in 2008/2009 then dropped down to $2.99 in 2011 before EA Mobile Website was discontinued.
Why was the EA Mobile site was discontinued? Because there have been numerous updates to the website, and with time it has evolved to what it is today. The one that existed on 2008 does not exist anymore because the change has been gradual and over a course of time. Basically if you tried to connect to the website it will give you "This site can’t be reached www.eamobile.com took too long to respond."

For Sonic 1: This port of Sonic The Hedgehog closely mimics the Sega Mega Drive version, but some features have been removed, most notably the Special Stages. The EA Mobile Port didn't have a rewarded way of earning a Chaos Emerald at the end of the Act. Unlike the iFone, J2ME, and I-Mode 90X the player leaps into the Giant Ring, they are automatically rewarded with a Chaos Emerald at the end of the Act. This game didn't have any Cheats or Cheat Menu like the iFone, J2ME, and I-Mode 90X that I don't know of. I also don't know if there is a J2ME of the EA Mobile Version.
