I downloaded it, ran a virus scan and opened it up to make sure it was what it said it was. 99% sure it's legit.
From Notes (includes 1.01, 02 and 03)
Sid Meiers SimGolf v1.01 Patch Notes (1/29/2002 Resolves an issue with occasional crashes for tournaments that had prize awards of 500k or more.
Is that the patch you are after? I checked both sources again and they still appear legit.

Seems to be the right file, yes. I checked for viruses aswell, seems to be clean.
So do I just run the .exe file? Or what's the deal? I'm not a computer pro! Haha or should I extract the file and put it somewhere in the game install folder and then run it?
Many thanks for the link tho!! :D

I don't have the game but from what I gather:
Unzip SimGolf_Patch_103.zip and you will get SimGolf_Patch_v103.exe (it is a self-extracting file)
It should auto-default to this directory (C:\Program Files\EA Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meiers SimGolf)
If your game is installed into another directory (i.e. C:\Games\SimGolf) point it there instead.
If you are on a 64bit copy of Windows, the default directory will be wrong because of Program Files is named differently.
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meiers SimGolf
Alternative
Extract the exe anywhere (i.e. C:\GolfTemp)
Copy the files (and overwrite) into the base directory of the Sim Golf game's folder
If you can't unzip the .ZIP file. Suggest you install a program that can, like 7-zip.
You can get 7zip here https://ninite.com/ Just check mark 7-zip and run the file it makes. This website is amazing for installing programs, no fuss no muss.

No the patch is very old, way before Win10.
See this website perhaps:

Some of the suggestions I can't talk about... should be obvious why. The other option I just haven't tested myself.

Secdrv is not on my computer, so I can't activate it. Is there another way?
