Peggle won't run

I snatched up Peggle when it was free a couple months ago. I installed it and tried to run it. It would get to the loading screen and freeze. I tried everything I could think of and I couldn't get it to work. So I gave up. I really want to play it now and I'm still having the same issues. It will start, but it won't get past the loading screen. On RARE occasions it will go past the loading screen and then freeze there. I've tried uninstalling/installing, etc, but nothing.

@mrslamph Couple of things that you can try, disabling your anti-virus and firewall would be the first step, if the game launches when you do this then ensure that you have added both Origin and Peggle to your list of exceptions.

If it does not launch then can you repair the game, you can do this in your My Game Library by clicking on the game tile and then selecting repair game.
