Need Help ASAP with Alice madness returns

I am so so so ill. Cant play my $30 game (Alice madness returns) without release date check which fails every time then says I need permission. What is going on.  I bought the game new at Gamestop and can't even play it.  NEED ANSWERS ASAP

Change the date on your computer to July 31 2011, then try and load the game and see if it gets pass the release date check. I was having the same prob until I tried this and it worked.
