I just purchased the game and I am still experiencing the same issue, support can not even help me with this. Is the game not playable anymore?

Did you ever install the game multiple times? We may need an EA Advisor to help activate the license for you. The game should still be playable.

Okay i found a fix! the problem is with two outdated files but you can just replace them, ill link them down below props to the guys from this post:

put those in the Drive>Origin Games>Mirror's Edge> Binaries
say yes when they ask you to replace the files
