@vdotmatrix Er....MechWarrior is a Microsoft franchise. After MechWarrior 4 and Mech Commander 2, MS stopped doing anything with the IP. They still have it, but they are just sitting on it. Same applies to Crimsons Skies and Shadowrun.
They did grant to Harebrained Systems the right to use Shadowrun for their games and the Battletech setting (Harebrained released just recently a Turn Base Tactics game based on the Battletech universe, with some RPG elements), but the MechWarrior series is still on hold.
