How do you skip the ball across the water?

lot of scrolling back and 1 failure

you have to aim your shot towards the bunker, then swerve the ball in about half way across the lake

Nothing seems to work... what is the trick? Only one of my shots out of 10 makes it to the green. I stop it with the sticky ball and can do the multiple ball thing too, but first I need to know technique for getting my drive there. Help!

This level is STUPID. Think I'll delete the app from my phone because of it. No skill. Just DUMB LUCK. Bad move EA

Take dead aim, although look at wind indicator to adjust aim

Hit ball with full power

Immediately before ball strikes water, swipe down on screen, which causes backspin, ball bounces and lifts above wooden barricade

Fairly repeatable
