I keep getting a connection error when I try and play level 172. I’m Being told I have a WiFi connection error and to try later.
Can anyone shed any light on this please?
i would delete the game and re-install but I can’t find it in AppStore anymore so I wouldn’t be able to download it again.

We have some steps for Android and iOS users I recommend trying to see if you can get around that. Removing your WiFi network from the device and re-adding it can help clear up hiccups too.
I've tried connecting on several different Wi-Fi networks with no success. I've been logged in via Facebook and playing as a guest with same result. I can't find the game in the iOS app store so can't uninstall and reinstall. I've been through the steps suggested on your reply. Would like this fixed as I've a lot of time invested and some money in this game.

This game is no longer being supported with post launch updates. I'd recommend reaching out to Apple Support to see if they can help locate the game from the store for you if it's still available for download.
