Is it safe to re-install my sims 4?

I started to download a lot of cc, after it all being downloaded I went to play sims 4 but it told me a certain file was corrupted. I took that file out of the mods folder yet it still said the filed was corrupted. I deleted the file, it didn't work. So I repaired my sims 4 and it still wont work, the only option I have left is to uninstall sims but i'm worried ill lose my packs and cc. I have around 17 packs overall and i'm scared to lose it all. Is it safe to uninstall my sims and keep everything I have?

Hey @hellotheremychil you can reinstall your Sims 4 without needing to worry, once a game is redeemed to your account then you can install it as often as you would like as it is tied to the account and can even be installed on a different system.
