I packed Marlos when his Special card was out but only recieved the Gold card
In Fifa 18, Getting Marlos as a gold card instead of his 87 Man of the Match obviously wasn’t very pleasing so i tried to report the issue and the person i was chatting to decided that they couldn’t do anything at all. They then decided that it wasn’t an error and i got the card i was supposed to and then this person left the chat.

In this case you packed the player before the MOTM version of the player came out.
You can find 87 Marlos MOTM in packs from the 21st of April to the 28th of April.

You usually get the base version of the item when you pack it outside of the MOTM timeframe. It does sometimes happen that you receive a base version of an inform item, but that fixes itself within a week.
