At this point, boxing is creeping back into the mainstream. As the leading sports franchise, it makes total sense to issue the next Fight Night installment- now. It may not be your best selling title, but there is a faithful fan base dying for this franchise to continue. At this point, you could even just re-release the previous game with new the fighters of this generation. Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, Wilder, Ruiz, the Charlo Brothers, etc. The game was ahead of its time anyway. Everybody who played it loved it. We really want a new boxing game.
Instead of a prison-to-champion storyline, do a street fighter /backyard fighter to champion storyline this time. Ala Kimbo slice. A bare knuckle brawler to legit contender.
But please, whatever you do don't diss boxing fans who would pay good money for a new release. If you need to save money, you can literally just use the previous platform. There are still loyalists playing the old game, but crying every day for a new one. I'd be happy to write a storyline lol. But please, it's time man. Thanks for considering.
