I was wondering if anyone at EA Games had given any thought to re-compiling/re-releasing old favorites for Win 7/8?  Such as: Emperor of Dune.

While the game unfortunately isn't available on Origin yet, we have started adding quite a lot of legacy games to Origin recently. I am currently not aware of what the situation is in regards to bringing back Emperor: Battle for Dune, but if hear anything in the future, I will let you know.

Hi!

I'm a huge fan of the old Westwood game Emperor: Battle for dune. Especially the soundtrack. I understand that Westwood initially released a PARTIAL soundtrack for the game over a decade ago (and I bought it already). However, I'd be more than willing to buy the COMPLETE soundtrack of Emperor if EA were to provide it;.

I have installed this game on windows 10 and it will not run!

I've had Emperor: Battle for Dune for years, but with the purchase of a Windows 10 PC, it won't install.

Any fix for this?

The newest operating system in mid-2001 was "Windows Millennium", although WindowsXP was in the wings.  Windows 10 cannot emulate any OS older than Vista.

I've seen other sites with patch claims, said to fix the optical drive problem of not being able to read the install disc.

I downloaded this patch, but it still won't install.

Are these false claims?
