DirectX not working and game not launching [ Edited ]

I have installed the Origin client and downloaded Mirror's Edge Catalyst, but when I open it I get an error with something to do with DirectX (no idea what that is) and an invaled parameter or something. Honestly, I can't even understand the error. A screenshot is attached.

Please, I am really sad that I got a game and I can't play it. I don't even think it's wine. Can someone PLEASE help?

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @DJ_Level_3.

I have seen some users fix this issue by doing the following:

• Go to Documents > Mirror's Edge Catalyst > settings

• Open the "PROF_SAVE_profile" file with notepad

• Search for "GstRender.ClampGpuMemory" and make sure the number after is 1.

• Save and close

That got super close, but the PROF_SAVE_profile is missing from settings. I am going to search the whole computer. Hope it works.

Nope. Just PROF_SAVE, which can't be read with Notepad.
