Connection Issue

Since Oct. 24 I've been unable to play T.W. PGA Tour '08.  Whenever I start it I get the "Sign in with you EA account to activate your game on this computer." message.  (I've been playing on this computer for at least 2 years!)

 

When I attempt to activate with a valid E-Mail and Password I get "Could not5 connect to the server, please try again in a few minutes."

 

This has been going on since 10/24, 12 days now which is a lot of 'few minutes'. 

 

The problem has been kind of acknowledged here ( https://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin-Client-Web-Technical/Origin-October-23-Connectivity-Issues/m-p/7125...) but obviously nothing has been done to rectify the situation.

 

Any help will be much appreciated.

The online service for Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 for PC, PlayStation 2 PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and Xbox 360 was discontinued some time ago:
