Personally I think fox has really missed a trick here.

I loved the game and would love a sequel. 

I have given it alot of thought and it would be great to be able to zoom in on a unit and take direct control. First person for guns and 3rd for mele units would be awesome. Then zoom out again for a tactical view. 

Multiplayer vs and co op modes aswell. 

Honestly loved the unit variety,  taking predaliens to max health was always fun

Hey @expatjanner as EA no longer has the rights it would be impossible to do a rerelease or remaster.

I tried the game again late last year on the Xbox and it holds up quite well.

Well there's a fairly simply fix to this issue. Just make a new game.

Reskin the models, give it a new name, keep all of the mechanics the same, change the levels a bit to ensure it's not a carbon copy... Boom... done deal. 

Brand new game with one of those, "if you know you know" feels, and it satisfies the gamer base.

Call it, "Extinction Event"

(there's that IYKYK touch)

I feel my work here is done.
