This is for FIFA 13, But If I am correct, It may help you with your issue also.

Players having difficulties connecting to online play or to other players in FIFA 13 likely need to open, or forward, their online ports.

FIFA 13 PS3 players simply need to open the following Ports on your connection:

UDP: 3074; 3659; 6000
TCP: 80; 443; 10000 - 10099; 42127; 3659

FIFA 13 PC players should also open these ports:

UDP: 9565; 9570; 9000 - 9999; 3659
TCP: 9946; 9988; 42124; 10000 - 20000; 3569

And FIFA 13 Xbox 360 players should open the following:

UDP: 88; 3074; 53; 3659
TCP: 3074; 53; 80; 3659

server failed to connect

★★★ Newbie

Hi,

I am not able to connect to the server using my PS3 with 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

May I know the reason please.

Sorry I could not find "2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa" in product list, so I chose FIFA13 (This is bad from EA sports though, should have been there)

Thanks

ONLINE GAMEPLAY SERVERS IDEA!!!

[ Edited ]
★★★ Newbie

I understand why EA wants to shutdown the servers of old games, due tio the cost of maintenance, but here is a good business model for EA and the gamers of older games to remain happy when it comes to online game play!

Here is my scenario:

I have the 2010 FIFA World Cup game for the XBXO 360, and want to play online via XBOX Live. Now this game is now 2 years old and EA has stopped its Server, but note that this game is different from the typical FIFA games. The typical FIFA game comes out annually, but the World Cup game comes out once in 4 years! So I think EA should support the online servers for the World Cup game until the new World Cup game releases!

The good business model for EA can be:

- To charge people $3-5 a month or every six months, by providing the ability to continue playing older games online (by not shutting down the servers of older games). This way, EA can make the money to maintain the older game servers, while keeping the gamers (who still play older games) happy!

Or at the least, can EA just open the server of the 2010 FIFA World Cup game, and keep it open until the next world cup game comes out in 2014??

thanks and reply!!

Hi!

I was wondering if the update for the game "2010 Fifa World Cup South Africa" for Xbox 360 is still available. If so, where can I find it?

The game says the EA servers are not available.

Thanks for your help!
