Liang Drone
-> Liang’s drone cannot be moved once deployed

 

Laser Drones
-> Speed changed from Fastest to Faster
-> Reduced Harvester damage to 45
-> Reduced Structure damage to 60

 

MSV
-> Attack speed increase buff reduced from 75% to 50%
-> Reload speed percent increases buff reduced to 0.55
-> Health reduced from 2250 to 1750

 

Catalyst Gunship
-> Normal attack interval reduced to 1600 ms (Faster default attack)
-> Gas grenade interval reduced to 3600 ms (Faster gas grenade timing)
-> Initial Attack delay reduced to 0.08

 

Orca Bomber
-> Reworked the damage reduction over distance for the unit. Damage fall-off is greater as the distance increases.

 

Razorback
-> Attack cooldown increased to 0.4 (Attack speed nerfed)
-> Health reduced to 1500
-> Default damage reduced to 70

 

Fanatics
-> Overall buff duration reduced to 5.0 secs
-> Reload Speed Boost changed from 25% to 10%
-> Attack Speed buff reduced from 0.65 to 0.45
-> Movement speed percent buff reduced from 40% to 25% (Overall buffs provided are nerfed)

 

Grenadier

-> Tiberium cost increased from 60 to 70
-> Speed increased from Average to Fast

 

Kane
-> Default damage increased from 2000 to 3000

 

Shatterer
-> Reduced Infantry damage to 180
-> Attack interval reduced from 1.3 to 0.7 secs (Increased Attack speed)
-> Speed increased from Average to Fast
-> Duration of Stun buff reduced from 950ms to 200ms
-> Reduced structure damage to 210

 

Mammoth Tank
-> Speed changed from Slow to Slowest
-> Tiberium cost decreased to 230

 

Zone Troopers
-> Health reduced to 1000 to 875
-> Reduced Infantry damage to 90

 

Phantom
-> Health increased from 1650 to 1665
-> Reload time increased from 6500ms to 8000ms

 

Titan
-> Reduced damage to Infantry to 180

 

Rockworm
-> Reduced Infantry damage to 90

 

Kodiak
-> Reduced Infantry damage to 150

Centurion
-> Reduced Infantry damage to 100

Interesting nerf to the MSV, wonder why it went through these changes. 
It's a very difficult unit to set up, doesn't attack and now can't even tank some damage, I fail to see why it's selective buff needed such a hard nerf like the fanatics, which are considerably more flexible AND cheaper....

Did you ever play against a highly ranked opponent who plays fortress deck? It it near to unbeatable if you don't have a dedicated counter deck. And even then it is very hard.

I think both the nerf and the weak spot is good. So you have to protect it better. That was one of my biggest complaints with MSV. That you can hardly kill it. It took about two orca volleys. And they were dead too because of slingshot, if they even managed to reach it. So you traded 70+(n*70) to kill it. I've seen plenty of high tier games with MSV. The amount of games where the MSV actually got killed can be counted on one hand you've shaken with Edward Scissor-hands.

 

MSV has to setup and is a slingshot for other units from this moment on. A fanatic has to be in the right place and then die. Much more micro is required. But arguably they needed a nerf too.

 

I think what breaks fortress players the most, is the liang nerf. I'd be okay with saying farewell to fortress. It is incredibly annoying to play against.

I'm good with the patch.

Would be nice to see economic rework in the future, so tech cant't be spammed anymore. Building two harvs blind and then stalling the pads with cheap + slow to kill units like drones just to flood the pads with 4 different kinds of tech units after a while, should not be possible.

Unfortunately, another balance patch that has some okay elements, but that ultimately falls short of what should have happened.

 

We have had a broken Tiberium economy for a very long time now. Double harvesters give the player a completely insane amount of Tiberium after 90 to 120 seconds have passed. This should have been changed long time ago. Why is absolutely nothing being done about this severe problem? Frown
