battlefield 2142 maps missing

I've just reinstalled Battlefield 2142 after a long break and discovered that the EA multiplayer server for this game no longer exists.  Which is OK since I can still play single player Instant Action by "tricking" the game into bypassing the login by keeping the Internet cable disconnected.  However, I've noticed that only 5 maps are available on Single Player initially.  I've been told that there are 10 maps in all in the BF2142 base game plus the 3 Northern Strike maps (I have the Deluxe edition).  Will the missing 8 maps become available as I ascend in rank or are these maps restricted to Multiplayer mode?

We have 9500+ registered players and  have added 80 new maps to the vanilla game.. There are at least 25-30 now that you can run COOP and play offline by yourself if you want..  Multiplayer does work with our community game fix.
