Veteran Status?

Since Veteran status seems to be broke, are the Status' still being handed out? Kind of wanna get my hands on the M1 since it was an exclusive to the Veteran program.

I think you can only unlock Veteran Status.

on the newest battlefield game, so now only in battlefield V.

but I'm not sure on it.
