Do you want a well informed answer by a person who knows what he's talking about? Spend some time creating a well made question!

A subject text for that question could look something like:

[PLATFORM] "descriptive text that allows others to know if that's the issue they have too"

Good example:

[PC] Corrupt game giving Error 123456 after Origin update 6. march

Bad example:

HELP, BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE!!!!1.1,.

Besides that, this checklist is a really good beginning:

Things you might consider checking / trying before asking about your issue.
(remember to mention which of these you have tried if they don't work)

Current outages and bugs:

  • Check the Origin server status: http://www.origin.com/us/status
  • Check http://help.ea.com
  • Check News and Official Announcements on Battlelog, stickies in Answer HQ, the Battlefield Hardline Twitter account for outages and current problems.
  • Sometimes things just break, the Internet is a giant web and sometimes parts of it breaks, be patient and wait a little before writing and always mention how long you have had the problem when you do.

Common questions:

Things you should always try / make sure:

  • Make sure your computer meets the system requirements for the game
  • Read the other stickies in the Battlefield Hardline forum
  • Try restarting your computer/console and network equipment (routers, switches etc.) by removing the powercord for 3 minutes.
  • Try another browser (Chrome/FireFox/IE)
  • Try repairing your game in Origin (right click > repair)
  • Try reloading your games in Origin by pressing “Reload My Games”
  • Check if Punkbuster is running correctly and update it manually
    https://help.ea.com/in/article/punkbuster-technical-issues
this guide should fix almost all problems:http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-Hardline/READ-FIRSTS-Common-issues-Fixes-amp-Guides/m-p/4390461...
  • Try setting bf4.exe and Origin as a trusted application in the windows(/other) firewall
  • Update ALL your drivers especially the graphics card but also components like soundcards, network card, motherboard/chipset, headset and mouse+keyboard, to the newest version. If the problem came with a new driver then remove that driver and downgrade to the driver that worked.
  • Try to empty your browser's cache, history and temporary files.
  • Make sure your hard drives are not having troubles
    http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-chkdsk/
  • Update your Windows using Windows update.
  • Run Origin and Battlefield 4 as administrator
    runasadministrator.png
  • If you have a console power if off by holding the power button for at least 10 seconds to clear the cache.

General System Troubleshooting:

Origin Troubleshooting:

Network Troubleshooting:

Graphics Troubleshooting:

  • Do a clean reinstall of your graphics driver.
This requires you to completely remove all graphics drivers and software you have installed, making sure there's no traces left on your system, even in the registry. The guide on how to do this is too long to place here but there's guides all over the internet.
    Driversweeper might help.
    http://www.guru3d.com/content-page/guru3d-driver-sweeper.html
  • If you have a laptop and has dual graphics make sure it's using the correct graphics card, laptops are horrible at choosing so you might have to set the setting manually in the graphics settings.

Hardware/Performance Troubleshooting:

  • Try disabling all soundcards it in the BIOS
  • Make sure your CPU/other is not overheating, check if all fans are running and record and post your temperatures
  • Check if the problem persists with all unnecessary hardware disconnected (no printer, speakers, USB devices except keyboard+mouse, lights etc.)
  • Clean your computer. Use compressed air and blow out ALL the dust in your computer. Take out the GPU, Soundcard, RAM, CPU and put them back in (remember new thermal paste for the CPU).
