Battlefield 1942 won't launch

I just got Battlefield 1942 and I have the same problem as well. I tried running it in 640x480 resolution and got a black flickering screen for a few seconds, but still nothing.

It's been a while, and still no sign of a fix or patch. Are you waiting for us to forget it, or are you working on the problem?

I downloaded bf1942 through origin and I can not get it to work. I click play and the 'launching' screen comes up but goes away before anything happens.

Nothing else happens and the game doesn open

When I run Battlefield 1942, it doesn't even launch, no flash or black screen or anything. Can you help me with this?

Hey, I just downloaded battlefield 1942 and when I go and click play it comes up with " Launching game" window, after that closes nothing happens? At all...................

You can remove the origin requirement by uploading you file bf1942.par here :

juste copy the downloaded file in the main game directory = and it work !!! without have to launch origin anymore by the way !

My BattleField 1942 Refuses to launch, And when I click play game it simply says launching game, then nothing, not even an error message. Please Help!
