From what I've heard from Steam - somebody was talking to an EA rep and they have said:

 "they are working on it right now and will try to have a solution to it soon"

How soon is soon? I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from not shooting anybody :P

Sadly, I remember that day when I couldn't log into online servers (Codemasters) in Racedriver:GRID. It was roumors at the beginning that hackers got access and codies must maintain their security protocols, and... well... it turned out GRID wouldn't come back into their servers at all. Whole community had to install some prosthesis like Tunngle and play this way...
