Origin games won't launch

I finally solved this problem myself today, deleted my hard drive & reinstalled every program one by one & found the culprit was Trusteer Rapport a program by IBM my internet banking requires.

Removed it from my PC & Origin working fine again.

@arcanus72 I still cant load any games on my origin been troubleshooting with EA help for hours and theyre useless does anyone have any fixes on how to solve this issue. I get the same thing click play game origin window closes for about 10 seconds seems to be loading and then window pops back up no game loaded. Ive tried everything. idk what to do next.

ea you *ucks... provide us some fixes and help... i have steam version... yesterday i bought game and i was playing normaly.. today i cant launch bloody game cuz your trash origin does not recognize steam version... @ea @origin

How do you manually uninstall origin? Is it any different than just normally going to the windows settings and uninstalling from there?

I started having this issue too a few months back, reason why I ditched Origin for EA Desktop (but I don't like the client at all + it's in beta and it's missing many features)

I removed Origin, reinstalled it, even reinstalled my games (BF5). The worked... but only temporary.

A solution that seems to work every time, so far, is quit Origin and do an End Task on OriginWebHelperService.

Stopped my antivirus AVG and the games now run

Great to hear that you got your issue sorted @Montanaror, rather than disabling it you can add an exception to your anti-virus.

EA are deleting all ORIGIN games so they can make extra money selling them to customers again don't worry though they still won't run its not called the EA scam for no reason most games bought through ORIGIN now have no support, does not matter how customers bought them or how much they cost they are slowly being deleted.
