I'm having the same problem for Battlefront 2.

I had the same problem at first but it started working after I verified my Origin account.

@Bleaky11How do you do that? My account isn't new but maybe I haven't verified it
Edit- I see that my email has been verified

Short update:
I talked to epic Games and was asked to clear my web cache, they gave me this link https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/epic-games-store-c73/launcher-support-c82/troubleshooting-epic-...
It didn't help, still get the error and have been asked to contact EA since it's there launcher
Edit update
So I got EA to call me and we ran through some different things to do which were,
1- log off and log back into epic Games store. Didn't work for me
2- clear all internet browser cache and try installing, didn't help. Basically said they are having battlefront 2 issues right now and error could be related to that
I replied to that saying since it's a free game I can wait for a couple of days and hopefully see if they fix it but others have bought other games weeks ago and are having this error. Others that are having this issue outside of battlefront 2, maybe get them to call you so you can explain what's happening as well. help.ea.com
I will keep updating till mine gets fixed

I don't know how much of this fixed it, but I had the problem with Battlefront 2. Tried some random stuff and it worked...I'm on a windows machine, here's EXACTLY everything I did:
Closed Epic, Blizzard, Steam, and Origin
Right click run as administrator on Epic and open
Right click run as administrator on Origin and log in, checked "Keep signed in"
Go into Epic and try to install the game
It will bring up the origin login screen again, log in and check "keep signed in"
Take a breath and hope it works for you too.
I also checked my display settings, that didn't work earlier, but can't guarantee that didn't help either
made sure it was set to 1080 and text/app scaling was set to 100%
