Is there any 'real' EA support? [ Edited ]

Hello, I wonder if EA provides any real support. Is there any contact address for people who paid in the past? Their mail support (it's just volunteers, right?) doesn't even read the whole conversation and since each support reply is sent by another supporter, it's an endless conversation for nothing, sometimes they even randomly close tickets as well. Now it's 6+ months and I am getting a bit tired.

I sure know of EA's "support" reputation (it's not a secret) but before completely giving up I wanted to give it a last try. Chat support is not available for Sims 4 (was deactivated after they made Sims 4 free)... brilliant. 

So here is the story: I bought Sims 4 years ago on Steam and also paid a lot of money for expansion packs. Switched to a Mac and cannot use the packs that I bought. Back in October / November when support really read mails, they told me it's a bug and EA is on it. I never saw a confirmation on Twitter that they work on it, so I have my doubts and think it was more or less a template for unwanted questions. 

Anyway, now a half year later, I tried it again and of course still the same. Well almost. Now it's at least downloading the packs. But that's it. Still no way to use them.

Installation steps

After downloading 20 GB, I open Game Details > More > Expansion Packs it looks like this: 

I don't get it. How could I download it on Steam on a Mac when EA doesn't want to upload their Mac version on Steam? Also even if I would still have a second desktop device and would download it on Windows, why on earth should I download it? I would have it twice. I mean, I already downloaded it on the Mac (see installation steps above).

When opening Sims 4, it displays this

 I click on Restart Now

and this appears. I click somewhere since there is no OK button.

Then I create a new random SIM, let it move to a new house and open the world view to try to switch to a another world I bought. 

Then it looks like this:

This makes no sense since the expansion packs were downloaded during the installation steps already + even when I wait 1m, 5m or 60m there is no change at all. 

No idea why images magically disappear here. After posting the message, they were displayed just fine.
