when will there be a 64 bit version of origin?

i am trying to install the sims 4 on my new 2020 macbook air, but origin is only 32 bits. so, i cant access origin, and i can't install it on steam because the sims on steam is only for windows. so, i was wondering when origin will update to 64 bits so i can play the sims 4?

Origin is 64-bit for Mac. Make sure you use Safari or Firefox to download Origin, not Chrome.

Just purchased Sims 4 to play on my MAC and when I try to open origin i get an error message stating "The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more info".
