very very annoying

why on earth is any sims packs and expansions installing themselves. i want to stop that. it's very very annoying.

Hi,

This is most likely due to your Origin settings. You can ask Origin to stop being annoying via Origin -> Application Settings -> Automatic game updates (turn it off).

Where are the application settings? I haven't been able to find them but don't know where to look.

@Rainbow1cupcake in the client, upper left corner, Origin tab, press that it should list Application Settings, right under
