Hi there, I haven't played the Sims for a number of years. And i have recently tried to login to my origin account.
I'm now in, but I cannot seem to update my sims game. It either fails the download or comes with a pop up prompting me to "select yes when windows peompts you for permission" however this pop up never occurs and I am stuck. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Origin app, however with no luck.
My authorisation settings also seem to be fine. Please advise

I get a window that says Update Required. When I click to update the window disappears and nothing happens. Please fix this asap.

Hi everyone.
Are you launching the Origin client as an administrator in Windows? If not, can you give that a try and see if it helps? If you right-click on the icon to launch Origin you should see the Run as Administrator option.
Let me know if that helps at all when you've had the chance to try it. Thanks!
