sims 4 wont load main menu

I got a new laptop and the sims 4 will not open further that the screen that shows right before the main menu.

Hey @Nardern123

I'm sorry to hear about your issue with launching The Sims 4 

Can I ask if you've tried any troubleshooting steps so far?  If not, I would recommend trying to start the game as admin, using the repair option in Origin and closing down background applications.
