sims 4 update wont

Hello when I try to update my sims 4 game on origin it keeps failing and syas one of the files that needs to be updated is being used

Hey @kakorina,

Just to be sure, you don't have the game still running in the background, right?

This sounds like a process may be open still, so if you've completely exited the game already, the next thing to check would be restarting your computer and trying the update again right after starting Origin.  

If that's still showing the error afterwards, it may help to clear Origin's cache as well. Let us know if it's still giving you trouble!
