"We've noticed your computer is currently offline. To activate your game on this

★★★ Novice

Recently bought BFV. After installing I tried to launch the game but I am receiving error message "We've noticed your computer is currently offline. To activate your game on this computer using your EA Account, you'll need to connect to the internet" Internet is working fine. Can browse, stream and download. Can play games at Steam. Tried possible trouble shooting steps. Restart router. Log in/off Origin. Restart laptop. Tried both WiFi and hardwired. Flush DNS etc.

Please help. I saw other having same issue.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @DarthPandaaa.

If you are seeing that error then you need to ensure that nothing is stopping Origin or BFV from connecting to the internet, have you disabled your anti-virus and firewall and attempted to launch the game?

It is worth doing a clean boot of your system to see if there are any programs which would be conflicting with Origin: https://help.ea.com/en-au/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

Let me know how you get on.

I have tried disabling both firewall and antivirus. I even uninstalled my antivirus.

Also, I followed the steps on the link (clean boot) you have provided but it is still not working.

Attached is the system info that the steps requested.

Please help. I badly wanted to play the game Frown

You don't need the case number to post your information here, @Cadeptt.

I have deleted my antivirus and have disabled Microsoft services in System Configuration. Is it my computer? Because on another computer in the same household still works which is kept in similar conditions. I'm not sure if this is a software thing on your end or my end but some further support would be appreciated. Thanks!
