"Show Origin after gameplay" doesn't do anything

Origin keeps popping up every time I try to launch game from task bar or start menu and pops up when closing a game.

Older solution of "activate beta" does nothing. This is very annoying, because whenever there's something on my main screen it kills my FPS in Apex Legends and with frequent crashes I am forced to close origin window dozens of times a day
