Hi I have tried to ask help here before but nothing worked for me.
Clean boot, reinstalled, repaired, blah blah.
I have upgraded from a win7 64bit PC to a win10 64bit one.
On my old account I can run the games I have payed for, but on the newer account my newer games don't work.
always says I have an "Invalid license. Reason Code = Invalid Cipher (0x0006)"
Now it's not my PC because I have no problems playing the games on my older EA/ Origin account.
It's my newer account that's saying I have an invalid license.
I just want to be able to play the games I purchased on my newer Origin account.

@bh3ll10m Your account owns your games, not your computer. So if you're logged into a new Origin account, one that hasn't purchased any games, you won't be able to access them. Just use your old account and you'll be fine.
If it really matters to you, then you can ask EA customer support to merge your old account into your new one. It's usually possible, but not always. Keep in mind though that your in-game progress won't transfer from the old account to the new one, and in all likelihood neither will any content you've purchased aside from the games themselves, i.e. in-game currency or the purchases you've used it for.

@puzzlezaddictHi there and thanks for your reply.
I made the old account and purchased some games on it. I then forgot about that account, made a new account and purchased some games there too.
I wanted to play some old games and was able to recover the password of the old account.
I was able to play the games OF the old account, and play the games OF the new account with no problems on my old win7 PC.
I upgraded to win10 and suddenly all the games on the new account all says invalid license...
But the games on the older account plays fine.
I know there's a mix-up somewhere and I hope it's fixable because I'd really like to be able to play my EA games.
thanks

on a side note; the old account and the new account have different games on them

@EA_DarkoHi and thanks for replying. I did what you suggested and talked to a support adviser.
Unfortunately he didn't know how to fix my issues and he referred me to a tech specialist which will get back to me, soon I hope.
thanks

I can't believe the person didn't even read my issue and closed my case as resolved......
This is actually my 4th time to try to fix this issue thru them and it has always ended up as nothing.
I have tried to explain to them that it is an account issue and not game/PC related, as I can run my old origin account and play the games there fine.
These kinds of things are the reason why I haven't recently bought and Origin/ EA products. I'm afraid that it's going to end up like these.
It's been like 5 years now and my problem is still not resolved.

Hey @bh3ll10m the error you are seeing is related to the game and not your account. Have you tried the troubleshooting steps? If not can you try them now, please.
