origin wont open up and it keeps on saying error connecting to server

so even been trying to open up origin but every time i put my password in it disappears for 10 seconds and comes back saying error connecting to server HELPME

I'm sorry to hear about your connectivity issue with Origin. You're a MAC user, is that correct?

Have you tried any connectivity related troubleshooting steps then?  I think you might find this article pretty useful

I suggest clearing Origin cache and reinstalling our application first. If it won't help, please check out the connectivity steps listed in this post.

I  have the same problem, ever since installing Mojave.  I have reinstalled and cleared the origin Cache, and it still comes up unable to connect.
