origin stuck in offline mode?

Ok so maybe this is a ongoing issue as of the recent few days i'm not sure but i've been trying to load origin to play the sims and it just sits in offline mode and does nothing but tell me I'm  not connected. I've tried every solution from restarting the app to re-installing and nothing same error is there anything else i can do?

@bsblover89  Please run the Origin reset tool for macOS:

If that doesn't help, try a clean uninstall of Origin.  You'll need to delete the hidden files that get left behind after a normal uninstall.  Here's how to find them:

@bsblover89  Does your computer run Windows or macOS, and which version?  (If you're on a Mac and aren't sure which version you have, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen and select About This Mac.)

Ok thanks I haven’t deleted the hidden files when I did the previous steps as you mentioned I’ll give that a shot
