origin still says game downloading

★★ Novice

I had to restart my computer and then re-add all my Sims 4 game stuff due to a problem after my PC crashed.  I installed all the expansion packs etc., and for the last week every time I go to play my Sims 4, Origin throws up an error message showing a full green bar with % only (no actual number of percent) with the message: Download in Progress.  I have tried restarting both my pc and Origin several times and it says no downloads are in the queue.  Can anyone help me with this?  Thanks in advance

HI @Merlimutt

Clear Origin cache https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/origin-my-games-list-is-blank/

Restart your machine .

Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights  http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2

NOTE if your issue persists go in Origin / My Game Library/ right clcik on game icon select Repair and Update Game.

My Opinion is no more important or right than yours.I'm a gamer like you, trying to help you (i'm not an EA employee).

Hi Ataashi

Yes I did thank you!  I have only just tried it - get very little chance to play these days, but the repair option worked great for me.

Thanks for following up
