origin download speeds [ Edited ]

Just wanting to make my voice heard that origin download speeds are HORRIBLE and make me question even playing games on their platform anymore. I just spent 45 minutes downloading the last BF5 update, and I'm on gigabit internet. I'm on a high end PC and nothing was running in the background. I was getting speeds of 735kb. Yes, 735kb. This is a complete joke. If EA was smart, they'd ditch this horrible platform and take it to steam, or even epic. I've canceled my membership. That is all I have to say....

If you are seeing issues with your connection @zz_Jables_zz then can you try the following steps please:

• Disable all background programs on your system (including Steam). You can also do this with a clean boot
• Temporarily disconnect all other devices that you don't need from your network
• Use a wired connection
• Make sure Origin is accepted in your anti-virus and firewall
• You can also try using Safe Mode Downloading via Origin which is under Application Settings, Advanced
