origin client blank, wont launch game

i was playing TS4. had just finished downloading a mod so had to restart the game. when i opened the game shortcut the origin client opened like usual. it had an update pending for a couple days so i decided id wait the couple mins for the update. however when the update finished and i logged in. the client opened to a barely loaded blank screen. (screenshot). I've restarted origin, deleted cache, updated windows, updated drivers, reinstalled origin. restarting my PC like crazy in between them all nothing. same blank screen. i get the same thing in the browser as well. its not my network as I've changed and there's no change. i cant even launch my game as it just opens the client and sits there on the blank page.
i'm about to give up, any help is appreciated
Clearing the Origin Cache should get you sorted in no time @sailerboy98.
You can clear the Origin Cache by following the steps below:
- Completely log out and close down Origin
- Hold down the Windows key and R
- Type in "%ProgramData%" (without quotes) and click OK
- Now open the Origin folder.
- Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for LocalContent (do not delete this one)
- Hold down the Windows key and R
- Type in "%AppData%" (without quotes) and click OK
- This will take you to a Roaming folder, which is located inside of AppData. Delete the Origin folder
- Click on the word "AppData" at the top of your window
- Open the Local folder here
- Delete the Origin folder listed here
- Restart your PC and log back into Origin

OK did that. no noticeable change. some other tidbits of info:
the "blank" screen has a kind of pulse to it, the gray bits get lighter and darker.
when i try to launch TS4 two processes show up, activation UI, and The Sims 4, they sit for a min then disappear and origin pops up.
origin is using quite a bit of bandwidth and when i leave the client open for a bit a loading bar overlay shows up on the taskbar (pic).
don't know if that's useful but there you go, any other ideas?
I have the same issue too.
I tried this procedure but do not improve it.
And I tried uninstalled and reinstalled but do not improve.
Please let me know if there is another way to try it.

From the image, you attached @sailerboy98 and @gosteady clearing the cache should fix the issue. Can you try the steps again please and ensure that you do not deviate from them in any way?
If the issue remains then can you go ahead and reinstall Origin to see if it fixes the issue.

I was try again and issue again.
My internet connection is very slow(ADSL 24MB) and it takes about 30 seconds time to display all of the Origin websites.
I think that can not be displayed due to it.
I have only SIM 3 in Origin, I give up for a while.
