I cannot get anything to work in Origin, games will not Update(results in Update in Queue), games will not launch(they try, to then close back to Origin).. Ive cleared my cache, rebooted, uninstalled/reinstalled Origin.. same results ! Nothing Working

The first thing you should do is a Clean Boot https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/FAQ/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
And if the situation remains, you should follow the steps below ;
-close Origin
-manually uninstall Origin http://help.ea.com/en/article/manually-uninstalling-origin/
-then go in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin -delete this Origin folder
-clear Origin cache https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/origin-my-games-list-is-blank
-delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Search field or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.
--install Origin as administrator https://www.origin.com/en-ie/downloa

did all of the above, as suggested in other posts.. not working

sure would be nice if someone from Origin would chime the * in.. * still wont work
