never ending downloading [ Edited ]

i have tried to download apex legends and it has apeared in my folder it has gotten to the stage where it says preparing download and give me the option to make it a desktop shortcut but it wont give me the option to continue. i thought it might of been my internet so i left it on overnight and its still like this 24 hrs later.

Can I ask, what exactly is happening? If you could grab a screenshot to show us that would be great.
