my username says it is taken but it is not

So i want my username to be Dewdmiester and it says it is taken but when you search it up via add friends nothing appears. I am gutted that i cant use it is there any way anyone can help

Hey @Dewdmeister if the name has already been taken then it would not be possible for you to use it. You can set your profile so that it is not searchable in Origin which would explain why you were unable to find it when searching.
