@hic86  When you are changing directory are you then moving the already installed files before or after?

If changing your install directory then try following the steps below:

  1. Copy your Origin Game Library folder to wherever you want it.
    • The default location is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\”
  2. Set the Origin Game Library Location to the new location.
    • In Origin open up Settings
    • Select the “Installs & Saves” tab.
    • Under “Game library location” select “Change folder…”
    • Locate the new folder.
  3. Start a download for each game you’ve moved.
    • In Origin open up “My Game Library”
    • Find each game you’ve moved.
    • Press “Download”
    • Origin will skip downloading any files that are already there and update any that need to be updated.
  4. When Origin is done updating each game it will be ready to play.

I copy it before the installation & i keep the original files in other directory when the download start it  resume from 50 to 80% or begin from 0%

I tried to pause the download close origin, copy the install files again, reopen origin & resume the download   the same happened.

Not to hijack a necro'd thread, but I'm having exactly the same issue. Moved my Origins Game folder, tried to reinstall, but it starts from 0% (on Madden 19) or 21% or something (DA:O), on ALL of my games. Oddly, the DA:O DLC seemed to install immediately, but the main game files have taken literally hours of downloading time (I have terrible internet DL speeds).

Don't want to spend 4 days downloading Madden 19 (again!) - has this issue been resolved at all?
