is live chat unavailable?

its just phone and email.

Hey all, you can contact our live support at help.ea.com.  

If live chat is not available then I would recommend using the contact option suggested as this is generally the best avenue to get your issue resolved. 

To  speak with a chat adviser:

Click on your product Origin

Then select 'PC

Manage my Account'

Can't log in

Finally, you can choose to begin a chat or request a call back.

@EA_Darko  i did what you said but still don't see live chat option.
is it only open on specific hours or something? i've also send emails two days ago and still didn't get a reply.

to be able to download star wars battlefront 2 from the epic store, i need link epic account with origin.

normally you should be able to get that opportunity when you start the whole download process from the epic store, it opens up origin to do so. but not only did i not see a login box saying to link accounts, its asking me to give in an activation code, which i don't have

what do i do? why is this happening?

Hey @DrawArtist can you try uninstalling Origin and then launch the game from the Epic Store and then follow the steps to install and log into your Origin account.

@EA_Darko i tried that a few days ago, but i kept getting the error 14:-1 when doing it from epic, i then reinstalled it with an exe

Hey @DrawArtist the best thing to do when that occurs is to take a couple of minutes to go through the following steps:

• Close Origin completely by right clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
• Make sure Time/Date is correctly set on the PC
• Make sure Origin is authorized by your anti-virus and firewall
• Reset Internet Explorer Settings
• Untick the options in LAN Settings ( make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server )
• Clear Origin Cache Data
• Reset the Windows Host File
• Reboot your computer. Now right-click Origin and select Run as administrator
• If still unresolved, please do a clean boot
