Ok found a older thread on this same issue and someone fixed the problem by opening Origin , right clicked on battlefield, and changed it from 64 to 86 in the game properties. I did the same and the game launched.

@phxman It means that you are launching Battlefield in 32 bit instead of 64 bit.

You can usually check if your OS is in 64 bit or 32 bit. If it is in 32 bit you can only run 32 bit games.

Either way, not a solution that I would have thought of but certainly one that I will keep in mind as I'm currently helping someone having similar problems in Spore.

@EA_Jason   I just checked settings and found "64-bit operating system, x64-based processor".  So technically I should change it back to x64?

@phxman If it works on x86 (32 bit) I'd keep it on 32 bit for now as you're having issues with x64.

It might help if you could share your DxDiag to see if your hardware should be able to run the 64 bit version.

I'll also tag @EA_Atic is he is our resident Battlefield expert and I'll be out on a 4 day weekend.

Attached is my DxDiag report. Took me a bit to figure out how to create it.....interesting info but I have not idea what it all means. 

Hope it helps someone figure out why I can't play in 64bit mode.

When using 64, what error are you getting? @phxman

Do you get it when starting the game in Origin and on battlelog?
